Wildflowers An Artist Trading Block by Lynne Moncrieff

 Hello

These days I appear to be either working in journals or on MDF panels for collages so I thought I would shake it up a bit and work with a That's Crafty Artist Trading Block, featuring the Dried Botanicals stamps.

Supplies

Instructions

Firstly, assembling the Artist Trading Block before laying aside to focus on the water colour paper, applying walnut ink (dissolved and decanted into spray bottle) and the Pearl Inks.

Once dry, using the dimensions of the Artist Trading Block face to cut out panels.

With Dusty Concord and Watering Can ink, stamping various Dried Botanicals onto four panels only.

(Ignore the circle, I decided not to use it at the final stage!)

Dipping a soft paintbrush into the Lustre Aubergine, applying to all the panels. Then using the paintbrush to collect the gold that settles to the bottom of the spray bottle, applying this to some of the stamped Botanicals and to create splatters.

Adhering the panels to the Artist Trading Block, wrapping eco dyed cotton thread around Block towards bottom edge, a few times.

To embellish, a rusted flower embellishment with a button placed in the centre.

Thank you for your visit.

Wishes

Lynne
