Hello!
I'm in a purple mood this week and have a few cards to share on a butterfly theme as I can never get enough of these fluttery and delicate creatures.
Step by Step:
These are very easy to make so I'll add the how tos under each of the individual photos.
This card has a simple stencilled background make using a leafy stencil and flat matte sprays. I used bluebell and rose over the top which created a lovely purple - serendipity strikes again!
I stamped the gorgeous floral butterfly with black ink on white card and heat embossed the image with clear powder. I coloured it with Zig watercolour pens and cut it out, adding to the card with text stamped on scraps of lilac card.
The second card uses some of the amazing paint pour papers by Melina Dahl which I absolutely love as they're fab for stamping too!
I covered the card with a piece added to a contrasting mat. The butterfly and sentiment are both stamped on scraps of contrasting paint pour paper. The butterfly is so lovely and no colouring involved!
Some More Cards
These cards were made in the same way as those above, mostly using the paint pour papers (you can see that even stamping a more detailed image on the paint pour paper gives a beautiful result) and the green and purple one uses a stencil.
Even scraps come in handy to create simple cards with plenty of space for a lovely contrast.
Supplies:
As you can see, very few ingredients to make great cards!
Have a great weekend and see you next week when there will exciting happening at That's Crafty! towers.
Fliss x
