Hi Everyone
For today's project I have created another 4x4 mixed media art panel working with a minimal palette and some of Seth Apters products.
I worked directly onto a That's Crafty! 4x4 white/greyboard panel covering it with off- cuts of paper, to create a 'grid like' pattern. The 'gridded' panel was then painted with black acrylic and brayered with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish acrylic paints (Cloud 9, Pool, Caribbean Sea).
Some black ink stamping using some of Seth Apter's PaperArtsy stamps (ESA20, EM40) added more detail to that created with the brayer and white highlights helped lift the dark stamping from the black tones in the background.
For the focal feature the colours of the background were carried through onto a greyboard round, Cloud 9 being the base colour this time instead of black. Another of Seths Paperartsy stamp (ESA13) added just a subtle touch of detail while the inner part of one of Seth's circle stamps (ESA15) provided the centre image.
The round was mounted on to a die cut - the inner circle part of Seth's Shield die coloured with Seth's Aladine Izink pigment ink.
Some AALL and Create washi tape gave the panel its title....
'Embrace'.
Products I used:
Off-cuts of paper
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylic Paints: Pool, Cloud 9, Caribbean Sea
PaperArtsy Eclectica Stamps designed by Seth Apter: ESA13, ESA15, ESA20 EM40
I hope you enjoyed your time here with me today

Take Care
