A Little Bit Christmas by Fliss Goodwin

Hello!

I felt a bit like getting into the Christmas spirit this week as the festive season is fast looming and although it's going to be rather different this year. I hope that you all have something to look forward to as I do with my children coming home and getting to see them in person rather than on a computer screen will be fabulous!

Step by Step:

The card is actually simpler to create than you might think as I began with a piece of kraft card cut to fit my 5 x 7 inch card blank.

I then took a fir branch stamp and used this to add layers of stamping and heat embossing around the edges of the card to leave a space in the centre. I started off with dark green, then embossing ink heat embossed with white powder with a final layer of embossing ink heat embossed with rose gold powder.

I next misted the panel with frost lustre spray for surprise, surprise a frosty look to my background! I glued this to my card blank and then made my embellishments.

I stamped Melina's gorgeous bird on smooth paper using black ink together with pine branch stamped with deep green ink. I coloured the bird with tomato and walnut flat matte sprays and cut him out (just the bird and note the branch he's sitting on) along with the pine branch.

I added the bird and branch to the card and finished off with my text which was stamped on a scrap of green sprayed card and heat embossed with gold powder.

Supplies:

Kraft Card
Smooth White Paper

Have a great weekend and see you next week.
