Fantastical Seascape by Rachel Harries

Todays post is less of a step by step and more of an invitation. A little while ago I made a piece using a Stamperia mould and lots of lovely That's Crafty! products to create my assemblage.

I had so many lovely comments, I was thrilled when Laura suggested using this mould for a workshop as it meant I could share how I made this. I also got to design the MDF which I've done in a way that is in keeping with the project, the pipe work has been simulated in the MDF and the workshop will involve learning paint techniques for rust and patina effects so that they can be added to your project. there are three options for the workshop; there's an amazing kit that Laura has put together with a brilliant saving or just the shrine and the workshop or just the workshop. Its going to be a really fun afternoon of online creativity where I will share the fundamentals of creating this small project. It can be as simple or as complicated as you like and there will be ample opportunity to put your own mark on the project, Id be thrilled if you'd like to join me.

  1. An absolutely amazing piece of artwork Rachel and can't wait for the workshop as it's ages since I played with clay in moulds.
