For this project, I was aiming for an earthy, primitive feeling with the dominance of circles and the inclusion of the twig, with hints of Interference Gold paint to mimic the sense of sunlight.

That's Crafty! A4 Stencil Circles
Archival Ink Jet Black
Extras: Twig, Black Stabilo Watersoluble Pencil
Instructions
Previously I had prepared a stack of cardstock with That's Crafty! media. To start from the beginning, two sheets of white cardstock (300gsm) and smaller sheet or scrap cardstock of similar weight.
Onto one sheet of card, misting with water before applying Walnut Ink and White paint, working quickly, almost pounding downwards into the card to create texture. Before this dries, dropping the Pearl Inks onto the card then misting with water, allowing the colour to blend, applying more Walnut Ink if required.Taking another sheet of plain cardstock, pressing down onto the sheet with the media, quickly lifting the card. This creates more texture onto the original card. Leave to almost dry and then with dry brush technique, apply white Gesso, barely touching the surface. Allow to air dry.
Onto another sheet of cardstock, clear Gesso was applied first before applying walnut ink and misting with water. To this, Black and Tree Bark Pearl Inks applied, misting with water again. Allowing to air dry to not disturb patterns formed.
The first sheet becomes the background paper to be adhered to the MDF tag. The second sheet, has three circles of varying sizes, traced and cut from the A4 Circles Stencil. Once cut out, creating splatters with Bronze and Copper Pearl Inks.
For the smaller sheet or scrap cardstock, mist with water before applying Black, Tree Bark and Copper Pearl Inks, mist with water again if required and then allow to air dry. Once dry, stamping small stamp from LPC005, with Jet Black ink.
Always looking for words to add to my projects, I once again turn to PaperArtsy EAB, this time the Night & Day set and the quote "Remember tonight... for it is the beginning of always." Partially inking up this stamp to provide the words "the beginning of always", stamped onto scrap card and as I wanted dimension to this, layering onto scrap Craftboard from one of the Journal sets, so easy to curve the CraftyBoard before layering to the tag.
Thank you for taking the time to visit.

After abrading the edges of the circles, stacking them before adhering to the tag.
Cutting out the sun, it was adhered to centre of the stacked circles.
Before applying touches of the Interference Gold Paint, three more circles were cut from the original sheet of cardstock, selecting the darkest areas.
The Interference Gold Paint applied to the background
with a light touch of the paint added to the twig, as though sunlight.

Stunning textured artwork Lynne. The stacked circles are fabulous and love all the little details you've added.
