Lots of different bits and pieces in this project.
The background is made up of a fabulous piece of Stamperia Rice Paper...
...layered over a coloured background. This was stencilled with the big A4 Circle Stencil. The paper is adhered with Acrylic Wax and takes on the colour of the underlying piece.
I then sprinkled on a few Walnut Crystals to add to the vintage effect.
I wanted a bit more texture but nothing too 'covering' so used this open script stencil with Light Texture Paste.
I cut out the clock...
and layered it onto my Craftyboard Wings to make it more of a focal point. The clock face and hands are coloured with some of the metallic/shimmer paints.
I stamped the wings with a crackle stamp in VersaFine Clair.
Add your text.
If I'd put this over a different coloured background - red/pink/yellow - it would have looked completely different. The Acrylic Wax soaks through and makes it more transparent. Of course you can also add colour to the rice paper itself, on the back or the front.
Hope you enjoyed this project.
