I had some underpaper which was covered with That's Crafty! products: paints (Midnight, White, Black, Grey), Walnut Ink, small areas of Pearl Inks (Navy, Black). It was too useful to throw into the rubbish but there wasn't a unity to the overall surface colour. In such times, I reach for Gesso, applying with dry brush technique, bringing a cohesiveness.
To this, spraying Lustre Spray Aubergine and Matte Spray Walnut.
Once dry, this paper was used to cover an assembled Chunkie.
Taking my favourite stencil, the A4 circles, a circle was traced onto some paper (it was eco dyed bue you could use walnut ink or any spray)
then cutting out the circle, adhering to the Chunkie.
Also covering two of the small MDF tags with the same paper, edging with Gesso.
Onto tissue paper (re-cycled packing paper is perfect, it doesn't matter that it is crumpled) repeatedly stamping one of the text stamps from the Wildflowers Set 1, with Potting Soil ink.
Acrylic Liquid Wax applied to front,
then spraying with Walnut Ink.
Then, flipping over and applying more of the wax and the Walnut Ink onto the rear side. When dry, it will be translucent. Tearing a small piece from the paper, adhering to the Chunkie.
This was repeated on reverse. I then made the decision to trim the waxed paper.
Onto scrap piece of painted card, partially inking up a quote stamp from EAB07
layed to scrap piece of Craftyboard, slightly curving before adhering to front of Chunkie along with dried lavender stalk (dry brushed with Gesso) and hydrangea blossom.
