Hello
For some time, I have had a dried leaf kicking around. Although I store dried leaves, twigs, etc in plastic storage boxes, sometimes I will have a leaf hanging around that I've not stored away, always in the habit of picking them up.
This leaf I have tried to find a home for but nothing was gelling, either the colour tones were slightly off or it was too large or too small for a project.
For this project, I wanted to use the "Be the leaf that's prepared to fall", suddenly the leaf had found its home.

Instructions
Onto watercolour paper, I traced around the MDF Round I would be working with. If you are interested, I used Stabilo watersoluble black pencil, so when I then misted with water, some of the black bleeds which is perfect for me. To the paper, walnut ink was sprayed.
grey paint was applied in rough patches, before misting with water and more walnut ink, allowing colours to blend. To this, I dripped Pearl Inks. In this photo, you can see the pools of media.
At this stage, I walked away.
I don't have a step photo but once dry, I then could not resist applying more Pearl Inks, creating small flicks. To the upper right corner, I misted with water and with a very wet application, blended Grey paint with some White paint.
The circle was then cut out and adhered to the MDF Round.
Taking one of the text stamps from The Language of Trees stamp set, I repeatedly stamped "Be the leaf that's prepared to fall" with Jet Black ink, focusing only towards the lower edge.
With the wonderful A4 Circles Stencil, I made three circles. The paper I used, leftover paper from when the circle was cut away. One circle adhered to a dried leaf.
Sometimes, it is the smallest detail that can bring me happiness - the dots on this circle (below) oh how I wish I could replicate but it was pure magic formed by the Pearl Inks and Walnut Ink.
Two more circles adhered to panel and with the Stabilo pencil, forming marks and also defining the leaf and circles.
Thank you for visiting today.
Stay healthy.

Oh Lynne I love the details in your processes and the way in which you are inspired by the smallest details. Wonderful background and stamping as always.
