All Ears! by Fliss Goodwin

Hello!

That bunny is here again! Can't resist him and this week I have a thoughtful card you could send a friend or relative who might be having a difficult time and hopefully the adorable bunny might cheer them up.

Step by Step:

This card is actually very easy to make as the background is done with one of the gorgeous masks designed by Melina which are so useful for crafting in a hurry and of course, you usually get 2 for 1 by using spray inks.

I cut a piece of smooth white cartridge paper to fit a 5 x 7 inch card blank and placed the tulip mask on top. I then sprayed tomato flat matte spray roughly where the flower heads were, following up with basil in the leafy areas.

As you'll see, you do get a brownish shade in some places where the sprays overlap but it doesn't affect the overall look when you remove the mask to see the pattern you've created. Don't forget to press the inky mask on another sheet of paper as I did as you'll then have a second print to use on another project.

I glued the background paper to my card blank then stamped the large bunny on the white cartridge paper, adding just a little pink to his ear, having decided to leave him white for a good contrast. I cut him out and added him to the background together with the text from the set which I added to a green mat before gluing in place.

Supplies:

Smooth White Cartridge Paper
White 5 x 7ins Card Blank

Have a great weekend and see you next week.
