Hallowe'en Approaches by Helen Chilton

I've mixed and matched a bit for this post - instead of going all out spooky tombstone, I've used pretty floral paper for the background - it made me think of an overgrown graveyard.

It starts with one of the small MDF uprights:


I then used some of the 13Arts Grungy Walls paper to cover both pieces.


I stencilled a small pattern with the Distress Oxides.


 Looking at my stamps, I chose this thistle which was just the right size.


Then I found this skull left over from the last Hochanda show. I've just painted it white and rubbed in some Walnut Crystals and added some black pencil.

...I decided more greenery was needed so cut some from this page:
