That's Crafty! Pearl Inks created a lovely wash background for this collage, the Bronze bringing the colour of Autumn, with hand-stitched details, with a coppery embroidery thread, adding texture to the stamped PaperArtsy ECF leaf and a cluster of French Knots to add balance on the collage.

Instructions
After Gesso randomly applied to the paper, time to begin working with the Pearl Inks. Spraying the paper panel first with water before dripping the inks, applying them horizontally, then adding some gentle splatters of Pearl Inks.
The beautiful leaf stamp from PaperArtsy was stamped, with Potting Soil ink, stamped so that the leaf was also stamped onto the layered papers.
At this stage, I wanted some hand-stitching. Using the needle to form the holes makes it easier to approach hand-stitching onto paper. With a lovely, coppery colour embroidery thread, working with 2 strands, I stitched onto the leaf.
The completed collage was then adhered to a That's Crafty! 8"x 8" MDF panel.
Kind Wishes
Lynne
Courtney's leaves are magical, aren't they? And I have to confess I was so taken with the bubbly ones that I scarcely noticed this wonderful fir frond on the same set! It's perfect here with your pearly neutrals, and offset from centre to allow the words to drift across the rest of the page. Beautiful, Lynne.
