Blossoming by Fliss Goodwin

Hello!

I have a bright and cheery card to share this week as the weather has been rather iffy and the garden has seen quite a lot of water!

What I Did:

I took a piece of smooth cartridge paper and sponged on lime and mustard multi surface paints, concentrating the mustard in the centre and lime around the edges. I then used the larger mix up stencil with green paint to apply a pattern mostly on the left side with a little on the right and the top and bottom.

I stamped the poppy in the space left on the right side of the card and coloured the image with flat matte sprays, using basil, tomato and walnut. I then used a texture stamp with orange ink to add some more pattern.

I used one of Lynne's mark making stamps with black ink to form a border around the edges of the decorated paper then added the panel to a dark green mat and glued it to a white card blank. I finished off with one of my flower quotes stamped with Versamark ink on black card and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
