She is Magical by Samantha Read

Hello. For a long while I've been thinking about trying out gelli printing, so after words of encouragement from a couple of friends I thought I would try, I'm not sure it's something I would do often but I did enjoy using my first print to make a card for a very special friend.

What I did

I used waxed paper to pull my first print, which has a wonderful translucent quality to it when glued down. I cut strips for the bottom of the card to 'ground' the fairy and then stamped the stars and fairy wings on my print. I then stamped the fairy and text on to white card and added accents of gold and a stamped border.

What I used

(From my stash; Kraft Card and alphabet stamp sets)

I do hope you like it, thanks for looking and see you next Wednesday!

  1. Such a cute card Sam. The little fairy looks so sweet on her gelli print base and love how she pops against the kraft background in monochrome.

  2. You have made me regret very much giving away my gelli plates! The print you made has given your card pops of turquoise here and there and everywhere! What a great card for a special friend. Love your focal image...with wings. She will love it, too! Mwah!
