Hello!
My Guest project for this week is a trio of Artist Trading Cards.
I love the MDF ATC blanks that Laura sells in the shop, they are sturdy and take
a lot of mediums. The stamps I used today are perfect for layering up.
Here is how I made the ATCs:
I started by gluing book pages and ephemera from my stash to some plain cardstock. I then glued the card to the MDF ATCs and set them aside to prepare my layers.
For the above ATC I did some accent stamping first. After cutting a rectangle from card I added three layers of Ancient Amber Baked Textures embossing powder and stamped EM36 into the molten powder, applying VersaMark to the stamp first. I added some rusty wire from my stash. I stamped again and cut out the small piece and added it, raising it slightly.
For the second ATC, I cut a rectangle of card from the leftover bookpage covered card and stamped and embossed EM39 directly onto the card. I cut the eye out separately, coloured it with pencils and added it. Before mounting I added some rusty wire in the background.
For the third ATC I added some background stamping first. After cutting another rectangle, I also stamped the middle circle again and embossed it. Before adding this to my ATC I twisted some rusty wire and added it underneath the embossed circle.
Products Used:
Rusty Wire
Book Pages and Ephemera
Thank you so much for your visit, it is much appreciated.
