Hello! Next month I shall be celebrating living in my home for 26 years, I love my home and what better way to celebrate the anniversary than by making a lolly stick hanging.
What I did
I started with 6 large lolly sticks and applied texture sand paste through parts of the Daisy Frame stencil, then without any priming with gesso, I painted the sticks red, using my fingers I added grey paint followed by white to the stenciled flowers. I used an ATCoin stamp for the flourishy background. I stamped the houses and hearts on white card and coloured using distress inks. Once everything was glued in place I added some washi tape from my stash and some black paint splats and silver chrome pen dots. To finish I added a little text, my house number and highlights to the windows with white gesso. Finally some white ribbon to hang.
What I used
That's Crafty! Multi Surface Paints (Christmas Red, Grey and Metallic Black)
Ranger Archival Ink Pads - Jet Black and Watering Can
(From my stash - Large lolly sticks, ribbon, number stamps and washi tape).
I do hope you like it, thanks for looking, I hope you have a lovely day, Sam xx
