Dream Big, Fly High by Anne Redfern

Hello Everyone!

For my Guest project this week I have created a trio of Artist Trading Cards.

I don't often use Design Papers, despite having a mountain of them, but when I saw this gorgeous 13 Arts paper pad in Laura's store I was well and truly smitten.

The only other things I needed were a stamp set for the sentiment, ink, glue and ATC bases.

Here are the steps I took:

1)  Give the ATC blanks a coat of paint or Gesso

2)  Add Design paper to each of the ATC bases
3)  Cut strips of Design paper, ink the edges and add these
4)  Fussy cut butterflies from one of the papers, ink the edges

5)  Stamp your chosen sentiment onto a spare piece of Design paper, ink the edges and add to your ATC

6)  For a little more interest in the layering, add some builders scrim or some cotton thread
7)  Shape and add the butterflies in your chosen style, using glue, foam pads or silicone glue
8)  Use a marker pen or Distress Ink to the edges of the ATCs

Apart from fussy cutting all the butterflies, these ATCs were relatively easy to put together, I didn't think the papers needed much more to enhance them.
