I was making my Christmas cards the other day and thought I'd make one for here as well:
As the base I've used some Tim Holtz collage paper - this stuff is gorgeous and so easy to use, especially for batch making cards. It comes in a 6yd roll so there's lots of it and there are also various designs.
I cut it up roughly to size and then crumpled it up:
This serves two purposes - it means you don't have to line it up too straight when sticking it on (great for speed),
and it also adds texture which can then be picked up by some gold paint:
Then I gold embossed one of the ATCoin stamps (I'm definitely getting back into embossing powders):
I finished off with a gold embossed reindeer - I've added some shading to give it more dimension.

Beautiful texture and detail Helen and it definitely doesn't look as if it was so quick to make either. So elegant and classy looking.
