Here am I with a new Monday post, for That`s Crafty!
and this time I used one of the wonderful Chunkies, the middle size.
While still on the sheet, I painted it all with white and when dry
I used the stencil Flourish with Texture Paste, on both the front and back.
I left to dry and then put together the Chunkie, using adhesive.
I sprayed with the beautiful new Lustre Spray Aubergine all over the Chunkie, first one side and left to dry, then the other and the side panels.
This is the front - I had been gifted a tea bag from my dear friend Lynne
and it was also sprayed with Aubergine - look at the big difference of color tones,
the materials show the tea paper really soaking up the color.
This is the back, using Ingrid's stamp of beautiful flowers.
All things were stamped using Archival Ink -
I sprayed a piece of teabag paper from the Journal set, with Aubergine and Red too,
diluting with water and when dry I stamped the flowers and fussy cut them.
They were adhered to the back panel.
Onto scraps left from the tea bag paper, I stamped two of Lynne`s beautiful Affirmations, cut out and
adhered to front and back.
The tea bag now dry, was sprayed again but this time with the Lustre Spray Gold,
giving this amazing golden shine. When dry, it was adhered to the front page,
also adhering another of the lovely flowers and some scrap of
paper and lace, also sprayed and I adhered some glass pearls to the lace.
Onto the back side I also adhered scraps of old paper and a piece of fabric, together with a
fabric button, all which had been sprayed too.
Both front and back were then given a layer of the wonderful Interference Gold on top of the
stenciled pattern.
This is the side with silk ribbons to hang the Chunkie, adhered with a
Greyboard butterfly, also sprayed with the Lustre in Gold.
The last thing to do was add some dried lavenders from my garden to the bag.
You could use all kind of dried things or you could use flowers stamped onto
a stiffer piece of cardboard, it is all up to you and your imagination.
This was it, I hope you could understand my "how to" :-)
Hugs and love
Dorthe
