Bright and Beautiful by Helen Chilton

Hello there, Helen here, using some of Ingrid's stamps to make a double sided piece of art.

I've taken two of the whiteboard pages from a 6 x 6 journal:

and then painted them with black gesso.

Then you can choose your Lustre Spray colours - I've used Aqua and Violet. They show up beautifully on the black background.

I just stamped loads of the images and watercoloured them with Distress Reinkers.

Arrange them on the pages,

stamp and emboss the text in white and add your embellishments.

These stamps are such a great size and stamp so crisply - a pleasure to work with.

If you wanted to you could also decorate the back of these pages - perhaps using the Lustre Sprays on a light coloured surface instead. Mind you, you'd have to be a bit neater than I am as I always get blobs of paint on the back!

Thanks for joining me today.

Helen

  1. Absolutely gorgeous pages Helen. Amazing detail and the lustre sprays look gorgeous on the black background.
You're not alone in getting blobs of paint on the back of things either as that frequently happens to me!
