Wishing you a lovely Monday , all -and week, too,
I`m here with my Monday blogpost for That`s Crafty!
I recently received the new wonderful MDF Rounds and used the middle size - about
15 cm in diameter. I painted it with gesso and let dry and then used the stencil Daisy Background
with Light Texture Paste on mostly the half left side of panel, trying to form a half circle
with the stenciled flowers.
While left to dry, onto tissue paper - first
painted with Brown mixed with White paint, I stamped the beautiful "Be Free" stamp using Archival ink, tore around then edges and adhered to panel`s right side.
On right side, I used a little crackle around the text and lovely birds. I painted the flower petals using the lovely Sandstone paint and around the flowers very careful with Light Blue. When all had dried, 3 handrolled roses and lace scraps were adhered down the middle round. Chestnut Brown paint was diluted with water in a little spray bottle and the whole panel sprayed, over again and again with the watery mixture, until I was happy. (with the color-tones - I like the way different materials get different tones with the same mixture). A torn lace piece was sprayed too and used to hang the panel.
So this finish this weeks post, and I wish you all a wonderful and sunny week.
Hugs and love, Dorthe

Dorthe
This is such a peaceful creation Dorthe, the words emulate the scene you have created within one circle, it's amazing to see so many textures holding the same colour way yet displaying it in their own individual way. Another piece of art I would love to hold and take a closer look.
