Hi Everyone
I'm back with you this Tuesday with a card using Dina Wakley products including one of the stamps from one of her latest stamp sets.
Here's What I Did:
This weeks piece see's a lot of white space, which I often like to do. I know there is nothing better sometimes than throwing everything you have at a background, but I also like to challenge myself to work within a white space.
I started with a gelli printed circle blending acrylic paints onto the 4" round Gel press, making some circle marks with some old packaging and then printing with it on the white card. I then doodled around the circle to neaten up the painty edge but also because I like the effect. On top of that I added some stencilling using a mixture of stencils and again added some doodling to the circles. I ripped up strips of Dina's washi tapes and added those.
Onto a separate piece of card I stamped one of the images from the 'Weird is Good' stamp set and roughly coloured it with Scribble Sticks blended using a water brush. I then added that using 3D glue to raise it up. The sentiment, stamped again on separate piece of card and cut out and added also with 3D glue.

All was then mounted onto black card and then onto a card blank. All was finished off with some paint splats of black paint.

A really fab card Amanda and as everyone else has said, definitely not boring but very striking with the black and white contrast to the pops of bright colour which look fantastic.

I ordered the Gelli collection of plates a few days ago, including a small circle - and I'm really looking forward to having a good play. This lovely card is great inspiration.
