From One Fanciful Flower by Tracey Fairgrieve

Hello Creative Friends,

Today i'm sharing a very simple That's Crafty! Creation
made during a mega card making session a couple of weeks ago.

Here's those quick and simple How to do's...

Selecting one from many stitched Distress Oxide
off cuts this would be the backdrop for my card.

Stamping one of Fliss Goodwins Fanciful Flowers five times,
I coloured them in with Distress Markers, cutting out one flower
in full and just the central flower shape from the remaining four.

Those cut centre flowers were then shaped by hand, layering two on top to
create a fuller flower and leaving the other two flowers just as they were

I had planned to embellish their centres with large gems but chose
to add a little glitter glue.. so much easier for posting.

Adhering my background onto a DL shaped card the flowers
are glued in place completing my Fanciful Flower card.

Simply awaiting a sentiment of choice fit for purpose..

That's Crafty! will be sharing their Crafty products on
Hochanda tomorrow Friday 13th Eeeekk!! at 12pm and 4 pm
Pop on over or set those recorders for some That's Crafty demonstrations and
That's Crafty Hochanda Design Team makes using the latest new releases.

Hope to see you there.
Creative wishes

Tracey xx

    1. I'm so glad you like it Fliss, your flower stamps are so generous in size making it easy to cut and layer up the flowers as all those guidelines are there.
I'm enjoying working with them and don't you worry there will be plenty more from me just haven't had much free time recently.
Wishing you all the best today Fliss :*

    1. So kind of you Dorthe, i've been squeezing the last little bit of life from some machine needles. Fliss's Flowers worked perfectly as toppers.

    1. Many Thanks Amanda, it's a satisfying feeling stitching on paper & card. In my youth I was always getting told off at college for doing this, blunting those already blunt needles hee hee xx

    1. Thank you Anne, the background had just the right colour to compliment the flower without it getting lost in the background and I have to admit they look super layered up xx
