Mixed Media Card by Melina Dahl

Hi!

It´s Melina here today sharing a card featuring one of the new stamps from the
Doodled Shrooms stamp set.

Here´s what I did:

I´m working on a A6 size watercolour paper. I apply some Light texture paste through a That´s Crafty! stencil and let it dry. I put Distress Oxide Spiced marmelade and Cracked pistachio on my craft sheet, spray with water and apply to my card panel. With the same two Oxides I also stamp with the script stamp and leaf stamp from That´s Crafty! Textures Collection Set 3 onto my card panel.

On a separate piece of paper I play with the Distress Oxides and several That´s Crafty! stencils and then stamp my main image onto that background. I cut the mushroom out and adhere to my card using 3D foam pads. I stamp and cut out part of a quote from Lynne´s Affirmations set 4, add some details to the mushroom with a white Posca pen, back my panel with black cardstock and my card is finished.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
xx Melina
