Hello dear
friends, Monday is here and so am I with this little creation on a white/greyboard
panel, which was after adding Gesso, sprayed with Infusions, Slime and a little
Raspberry.
But before
spraying, I put down one of the beautiful clock embellishments on top of the
gessoed panel and pressed it tight to the surface, while spraying the Slime Infusion.
Letting it dry totally, I prepared
the flower embellishment, also first with Gesso and then using brush markers, I painted them. I
cut off a piece of the flowers, to make them fit on the panel.
After the panel had dried, I added 3
small hearts from the Dinky Stencil Hearts, with texture paste which, when dry, was also coloured
with brush markers.
The last step was dying a piece of
lace and sari silk, together with one of the small wheels from the clock embellishment sheet with Infusions Raspberry and to add two
white old buttons and write “summer time“ on the right side of the creation.
I hope you enjoy a new fresh and
lovely week, all. Thank you so much for visiting.
Dorthe xx

Oh, Dorthe - how pretty this is! The inky effect over the gesso on the flower is just lovely, and the earthy textures and colours in the background are full of natural beauty. Love that sari silk to finish it off too!
