Hi everyone
I have a card for you this week and here’s what I did to
make it.
Here’s What I Did:
Starting
with a piece of mixed media card, or you could use watercolour card, I spritzed on several colours of Dylusions sprays. Over the top of that I stencilled the Sunburst stencil using black Archival ink
applied with an ink blending tool.
I then mounted my background onto black card
and left quite a wide black border as I wanted the additional stamping to flow
off the page. I then stencilled several more elements using Dylusions paint,
these were stencilled using a mixture of Dina Wakley and That’s Crafty! Dinky
stencils.
I then stamped Dina Wakley’s Scribbled Elements over the stencilling. Onto a separate piece of white card I
stamped the bird from Dina Wakley’s woodcuts stamp set. I added it to my
background using 3D foam to raise it up from the background.
The final touch
was to add the sentiment which I heat embossed in white using one of the
sentiments from Lynne’s affirmation set 2.
All was
then mounted onto a card blank.
Here’s What I Used:
Strathmore Mixed Media Card (you could use watercolour card)
Black
Archival Ink Pad
That’s Crafty! Dinky Stencils – Punchinella, Numbers, Half Circles
Dina Wakley Stencils – The Basics, Spinner
Dina Wakley Stamps – Scribbled Text Elements, Woodcuts
Card
Blank
Hope you like and and I’ll see you all next week
