Hi
there, I have a very quick and easy card to share this week as I was very short
on time and a hunt through my stamps turned up the perfect image for a simple
creation. It’s so delicately drawn it really speaks for itself so a cute
sentiment is all you need to finish it off.
Ingredients:
White
Card Blank
Recipe:
Stamp
the main image directly on the card and colour with the pencils. If you haven’t
tried the Colorista pencils, I can highly recommend them as if you use them on
smooth card as I did, they go on very smoothly too. They’re also quite highly
pigmented and I found you can layer colours up to make them stronger.
I
coloured her dress by using a blunter pencil followed by a much sharper one,
which gave a textile type appearance that I rather like.
I
finished off my card by stamping the text in the top left corner (you may have
noticed the slight shadow round this – a bit of serendipity here as I stamped
it without my glasses – enough said!)
We
have a new challenge today over at That’s Crafty! Challenge Blog with a really
great theme so do go and check it out to see how you can win a great prize just
for entering.
Have
a great weekend and see you next week.
