Last week That’s Crafty! launched new Journals, Stencils and Stamps live on Hochanda.  The Journals are made from white/greyboard and are very sturdy and well able to take a lot of punishment!

For my 6 x 6 page I started with a coat of gesso then added the Dina Wakley pink and grey paints on the background. I stencilled the new Leaning Man in black modelling paste and added wings from the older Wings stencil. His Halo is hand drawn.

I flicked white paint all over the background keeping clear of the Angel figure.

Next to give my Angel something to stand on I used the white texture through the squares of the That's Crafty! Word Series Stencil - Journal - WS008 stencil.

I stamped one of the stamps from That's Crafty! Clear Stamp Set - Lynne's Affirmations - Set 2 designed by the superbly gifted Lynne Moncrieff, onto paper, coloured it with Gelato and attached it to the page.  I draw lines around it in black watercolour pencil and smudged it with a damp finger.

To create a frame I edged the whole page with white paint.
