Hello My Little Flower Pop! by Amanda Southern

Hi Everyone

Paperartsy have just released the 2nd collection of stamps as part of the Elenazinski Art collection and all of these are available now at That’s Crafty! As soon as I saw these cheeky birds across the collections I just had to put them all together.

Here’s What I Did:-

I wanted to create a clean and simple look but wanted to add some additional interest to the background. I had a piece of card that I had splatted and flicked acrylic paint onto using a combination of brands. The piece didn’t work for me so I popped it in my scrap drawer.

I decided to die cut some squares and rectangles using a couple of Seth Apter dies. I laid them out onto my white background till I was happy with the design and then glued them onto the card.

I stamped all the birds and flower heads onto another piece of white card and coloured them using a combination of Prima watercolours and Prima water soluble oil pastels and fussy cut them out.

I then positioned my birds within the frames on my background.

I added the flower heads to some green felt cord from my stash.

Finished by stamping the sentiment and matting onto bright pink card before adding to a card blank.

What I Used:-

Acrylic Paints (I have used a combination of Dina Wakley & Dylusions
PaperArtsy Elenazinski Art – ZA05, ZA07 & ZA08
Seth Apter Dies – Robo Square & Robo Bar
Green felt cord from my stash

See you all next Tuesday

Love
