Hello crafters! It's Alison here today
with a set of three simple Christmas cards, using Birgit Koopsen's lovely
new scribbled stars.
Here's what I used...
3 Kraft Card Blanks - 4 x 4 ins Square
3 Red Star Gems
Here's what I did...
1. Using the Versamark ink, stamp a
different scribbled star in the centre of each of the card blanks. Also, stamp
the 'Wish' sentiment from the Lin Brown stamp set in the bottom
righthand corner of each card.
2. Apply shabby white embossing enamel
to the watermark images, then add some sprinkles of the powder over the
cards. Use a heat gun to melt the enamel. Holding the card up, and heating it
from below, avoids blowing the loose powder away.
3. Glue a red star gem to the centre of
each star with glossy accents. A small red button would work equally well.
4. My cards buckled a bit with the
heat, so I placed them between the pages of a thick book overnight.
The embossing enamel has glitter in it,
so the stars are lovely and sparkly when they catch the light. Hopefully this
shows a bit better in this close up photo.
Wishing you a very creative day,
