Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with a new Carabelle stamp. I just had to have this one as it
reminds me of the girls I draw with swirly hair……everyone should have swirly
hair don’t you think?!
What to do:
Take
a sheet of Strathmore Mixed Media Paper and stamp the image on it using black
Archival ink (it’s all one stamp).
Next
step is to colour everything in using just Distress markers. I always scribble
a little bit on an acrylic block and then pick it up with a water brush to
dilute the colour, if you want a stronger effect colour directly on the image.
I love to use Tattered Rose for the skin tone.
Add
a little flower, bling and a touch of Stickles and finish off with a Tim Holtz
sentiment. Mount onto black and then white cardstock.
I
think as this image is so beautiful it doesn’t need much more. Sometimes the
beauty of a stamp speaks for itself ;)
Supplies Used:
Carabelle Stamp – Fish and Girl
Distress
Markers
Black
Archival Ink
Strathmore Mixed Media Paper Pad
Tim
Holtz Small Talk Sticker Book
Water Brush
Stickles
Black Card
White Card
Hope
you like it

Now THAT is a spooky coincidence isn't it. If you're Inky and Quirky then I must be your alter ego Quinky and Irky ;oD
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I love the softer colour palette you used. Lx
This is an interesting image, Donna. Quite pretty actually. Love your light touch with the color and you're right, she's great in a minimal surrounding. I sure wouldn't mind some swirly hair once in a while for a change.
ReplyDeleteFabulous stamp beautifully coloured Donna. I would like her hair too xx
ReplyDeleteLove the softness of your colouring on this one, another Carabelle winner for sure.
