Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with a card featuring my favourite Dina Wakley face stamp, she
always looks so lost in her thoughts.
What to do:
Take
a piece of Strathmore paper and placing the stencil on top, spray with a
mixture of Dylusions sprays in the ‘citrus’ shades, remove stencil and dry with
heat gun.
Next,
take the chevron stamp from a PaperArtsy set and apply directly on top of the
background using Fern Green Archival ink.
Stamp
the face on a separate piece of Strathmore paper and colour with Distress
Markers and a water brush, fussy cut out and adhere just on top of the chevron
image.
For
the finishing touches, add a Tim Holtz sentiment.
I
also added a couple of leaves from one of my hand carved stamps, mount on black
and then white cardstock……..and there she is…deep in thought again ;)
Supplies Used:
Speedy Carve Block (if you want to try your hand at carving a leaf stamp)
Hope
you like it
