Be Fearless ATC by Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, I have an artist trading card to share this week that was actually one of those made for That’s Crafty’s debut on Hochanda last week which I hope you caught. I decided on this one as I have quite a few things going on in my life at the moment and made some journal style atcs of which this is the first. Hope you like it!

Ingredients:

Archival Ink – Jet Black, Watering Can
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylics – China, Chartreuse

Recipe:

First brayer the blue acrylic paint over the white side of the atc to cover. You might be able to use just one coat but if not, just add another when the first coat is dry.

Next use the harlequin stencil on the lower half of the painted surface to add a pattern with the green ink and allow to dry.

Use the collage stamp on the upper half of the painted surface, stamping with the black ink. Stamp the Crazy Bird on stamping paper, colour with pencils and cut out with the matching die.

At this point, you could add dimension if you like by using the matching dies in the set to cut out the eyes, beak and wing after you stamped and coloured these elements.

I glued my bird on the painted atc and added my chosen sticker, finishing off with a little of the green paint smudged around the edges.

Have a great weekend and see you next week.
