Why Does it Always Rain on Me? by Donna Gray

Hi everyone,

Donna here today with a Katzelkraft and Carabelle mixture again.

What To Do:

Pounce some Distress Inks directly through the Crafters Workshop stencil (love this one) straight onto the white card. Add a little shading to the bottom of the fungi and ferns as you want to ‘ground’ it.

Work out exactly where the cat is going to sit and using the raindrop Dinky stencil, pounce more Distress Ink through it. You want it to look like the rain is about to start falling on the cat.

Stamp the cloud and cat on any Gelli printed scraps you have. I think a brown/cream combination of paints with an imprint of bubble wrap works really well for the cat’s fur.

Fussy cut out the stamped images and adhere to the card, add a Tim Holtz sentiment to finish off with. Mount onto black card and then white cardstock…..look on the bright side indeed!

Supplies Used:

Hope you like it
