Thank You Kindly Tag by Alison Hall

Hello everyone! Alison here today, with a tag I made using PaperArtsy Sara Naumann stamps, Fresco Finish Paint, and the new PaperArtsy Infusions.

Here's what I used...

PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paint - Space Cadet, Chalk
PaperArtsy Infusions - A Bit Jaded, Emerald Isle
Teabag Papers

Here's what I did...

1. I started off by painting the tag with Space Cadet Fresco Finish paint. Then I applied a layer of PaperArtsy Crackle Glaze. I used a brayer to do this, so that I got a thinnish flat layer. I dried this with a heat gun, wafting over the tag to avoid causing bubbles.

2. I then painted on a layer of Chalk Fresco, and watched the magical cracks appear. Once the cracks are on their way, you can speed up the paint drying with a heat gun.

3. Next, I sprinkled some of the PaperArtsy Infusions over the tag. I used A Bit Jaded and Emerald Isle. I placed the Sara Naumann on the tag, then used a palette knife to apply some Prima 3D Gloss Gel through the leafy sprig. As you scrape the gel through the stencil, it picks up the colours from the Infusions underneath. I worked the gel through the stencil until I could see a good amount of colour coming through. I repeated the process, adding a couple more leafy sprigs, taking care not to disturb the previous ones. Leave the gel to dry naturally, until it becomes transparent, and the Infusions show through clearly, then brush off the remaining Infusion powder.

4. I used Soft Matte Gel to glue some teabag papers to white card, stamped the Sara Naumann leafy sprig and the 'Thank You Kindly' with black Archival ink, and cut them out. I used foam to ink the edges of the words with black ink.

5. I then used the black Archival ink to stamp the Helen Keller quote over the tag, then adhered the leaves and quote with Glossy Accents.

6. I coloured some crinkle ribbon by spritzing with water, sprinkling with some Emerald Isle Infusions, then scrunching it up and drying with a heat gun. I finished by threading the ribbon through the top of the tag.

I hope that you like this different way of using the PaperArtsy Infusions pigment powders.

Thanks for dropping by,

Alison x
