Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with a quick and easy card for you all using just Distress inks for
the colouring.
What To Do:
Use
a piece of Strathmore Mixed Media paper for this as you will be
flicking/spraying water on it.
Stamp
the image from Prima with black Archival ink. In the centre blend Salty Ocean
Distress ink, then radiating out blend in Vintage Photo Distress ink.
Either
flick some water with your fingers or from the spray bottle, wait a few seconds
and then dab a piece of kitchen roll on the surface to lift some of the ink off
for the blotched effect you see here.
Stamp
an image from a Carabelle set on separate white card, cut out and adhere to the
left of the main image.
Add
a Tim Holtz sentiment (doodle around it and colour with some of the Vintage
Photo), distress the edges of the mixed media paper with the distresser tool,
then ink around those edges with some more Vintage Photo to remove any white
paper that’s showing.
Mount
onto card stock and there you have a simple but effective card.
I
tend to forget how truly brilliant those Distress inks are at times for their
speed and versatility ;)

Not sure how "grunge" and "stunning" can go together so well, but they certainly do so here! Beautiful work, Donna!
