Live the Life by Alison Hall

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for my nephew, who turns 16 today. I think that the 'no frills' style, and Kaisercraft sentiment is perfect for this age group.

1. Make a 5x5 inch card with the white stamping card, and stamp the Kaisercraft Arty background with the Aquamarine, Deep Purple and Olive inks.

2. Stamp the Kaisercraft sentiment onto white stamping card with Versafine Onyx Black, then emboss with the detail clear embossing powder.

3. Cut out the sentiment, then colour a piece of card slightly larger with the Deep Purple ink pad. Mat the sentiment on the purple card, then attach to the card as shown.

Until next time,

Alison x

  1. This is a great card for a sixteen-year-old boy. I love the sentiment and the background is great. You are very gifted at choosing exactly the right card to fit the age group and gender - not always an easy task xx.

  2. Perfect card for a teenager, fab quote too. Am sure he will love it and it will add to his smiley day:-) xxx

  3. Great, simple clean card. Just perfect as you say for the recipient. X
