·       Firstly, you will need to make your background. Using your Distress inks, craft mat and some spritzed water, create a background on your paper. Basically, you rub some of your ink on the craft mat spritz a little water and then swoosh your paper through the ink. Dry and continue to do the same until you are happy with the effect.

·       Glue your background to the beer mat/coaster using double sided tape or the Cosmic Shimmer Glue. Do NOT cut to size before you stick the paper to the coaster, cut around the coaster once the paper is glued on.

·       Using the mask and some Cut and Dry with the metallic gold ink, dab some stars onto the background. Blast with a heat tool as pigment ink is very sticky unless you dry it.

·       Then stamp a background all over the coaster using the Coffee Archival and the ‘bird names’ stamp on the CI set.

·       Stamp the large flying crow where you’d like it to be on the coaster, then stamp it again onto some old book paper. Cut out the image. Set to one side.

·       Stamp some tree branches around the bottom and sides of the coaster, the barbed wire along the top and the flying bird above the crow. Blast with a heat tool to set.

·       Glue the old paper crow into place.

·       Edge the coaster with the Coffee Archival.

·       Finally, add some Crackle Accents to the large crow, the flying crow and the branches.
