A Message of Love by Lynne Moncrieff

I am sharing a card where I have used a paperclay shabby rose as an embellishment.

WOW Shabby Rose Mould
Colorbox Chalk Ink Pad Blush Rose
Distress Inks:- Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish:- Nougat and Vintage Lace
Extras:- Stained gimp and stained seam binding

Create a Shabby Rose embellishment with the paperclay and Shabby Rose mould. Leave to dry (drying time does vary – it is a good idea to create a bouquet of shabby roses so you will have one to hand when you are in need.)

Tear cardstock to required size. Build layers of stamping and paint (I worked mainly with the heart and basket of flowers). Heat set between layers. Stamp basket of flowers and with love with London Fog. Adhere the panel to cardbase trimming with stained gimp.

Lightly paint the rose with Vintage Lace before adhering to the card with silicone glue and tying the stained seam binding into a shabby bow.
