Love Elf by Deborah

More bright colour this week, with no white space in sight, on a card which showcases this gorgeous winged lady from Carabelle Studio. I sprayed through and stamped with various stencils onto smooth stamping card plus paper from a cheap sketchbook. The ink sprays reacted differently, soaking into the cheap paper and appearing bolder and brighter on the smooth card. I filled in any white spaces with liberal amounts of water soluble pastels (or use oil pastels or Gelatos).

I stamped onto the smooth card in Watering Can and then stamped on a scrap of gelli printed paper, cutting round the elf (minus wings and stars) and colouring her in. Once I had glued her down I rubbed the ink pad around the edge of both pieces of paper and attached them to the card blank.

The quote is from French Symbolist poet, Paul Fort, and says 'Love is the only dream which is not dreamed'.
