Marie Antoinette Hanging by Mandy C

·       Stamp the Marie Antoinette image out onto Stamping Card, using the black Archival. Colour with watercolour pencils and cut out.

·       Edge with chalk ink.

·       Ink the whole image with Versamark and emboss using the Frosted Crystal embossing powder.

·       I added some punched border along the bottom of the dress.

·       Set to one side.

·       For the paper beads ~ Take a piece of paper, spray with the Vintage Mica Misters. Dry with a heat tool. I wanted the beads to ‘match’ the colours I used on the Marie Antoinette image so I added some Calypso Teal. (incidentally this turned out completely different to what I thought it would be lol) I also stamped the script stamp over it.

·       Using the paper bead template, I cut out a number of triangles. I rolled the beads up using a cocktail stick and stuck the end of the bead with some Cosmic Shimmer Glue. Once these have been made, apply some Versamark and triple emboss the beads using the Frosted Crystal.

·       Take some red tape and apply to the centre of the back of the Marie Antoinette image. Take some sewing thread and add some of the paper beads, then lay the cotton on top of the D/S tape to secure it. Use glue to adhere the whole of the MA image to some of the backing paper you make for the paper beads. Once secure and dry, add some more paper beads to the top of the hanging, make a loop.
