The Singing Bird Tag by Mandy C

Archival Ink ~ Black and Potting Soil Brown
Distress Paint ~ Iced Spruce
Glimmer Mist ~ Be Mine and Honey Dew Mist
Chalk Ink ~ Chestnut Roan and Aquamarine
Ribbons of your choice

·       Take your manila tag and spritz your Glimmer Mist over it. Focus the pink colour in the centre and the green more around the edge. Dry with a heat tool.

·       Once dry, use some pastels on the background. I used a pale orange shade and a turquoise. The orange in the centre and the turquoise around the edge. Blend with your finger.

·       Using the 4 egg stamp with the border and the Iced Spruce, stamp over the entire tag. Leave to dry. You could leave it like this, I found it too non-descript. So I used the same stamp and the black Archival (which I stamped onto paper first to get most of the ink off) over the background. Set aside.

·       Stamp you images onto some card. I used the Potting Soil Brown and black to stamp the images. Heat set.

·       Arrange onto your tag and then glue into place. Colour with watercolours.

·       Using the Aquamarine chalk ink, edge around the tag pulling the chalk inwards but not too far. Then edge using the brown chalk ink.

·       Add your ribbons.
