I Dream of Steampunk by Mandy C

What I used:

Card Blank
Steampunk Embossing Folder
Clock Stamp
Distress Paints ~ Broken China and Antique Linen
Old Book Page

·       Take a piece of white card… slightly larger than the embossing folder. Spray with Monster Mash mist. Dry.

·       Run through the embossing folder.

·       Using the two Distress paints…. grunge the background up. Dry.

·       Lightly swipe the coffee Archival over the top of the embossing, this should lift the embossing so you can see it.

·       On some stamping card, stamp the steampunk lady and the word ‘dream’ from the Kaisercraft set, using the black Archival. Blast with a heat tool to set it. Colour with watercolours.

·       Stamp the clock and the number plate from the Oxford Impressions set onto an old book page. Cut out.

·       Using one of the cogs from the Oxford Impresssions set, heat emboss some cogs in opposite corners of the card. Then emboss gold all the way around the card.

·       Stamp and emboss a cog in the middle of the clock stamped image.

·       Place all your cut out images onto the card, when you are happy, glue down with Cosmic Shimmer glue.

·       Cut a piece of black card slightly larger than the background. Glue the stamped card onto it and then glue the whole thing onto a card blank.

·       Finally, add some white gel pen and some stickles to highlight.
