Flower Face Box by Mandy C

Papier Mache Box (I bought a set of 3 from my local poundshop)
Acrylic paint
Archival Ink ~ black and coffee
Script Stamp ~ I used this one
Watercolour Pencils
Pom Pom Trimming

·       Paint the box inside and out… leave to dry and do a second coat.

·       Meanwhile, stamp the largest flower face out onto white card, colour with watercolours and cut out to fit the lid of the box.

·       Once the box is dry, stamp using the coffee and the script stamp around the box and across the lid. Heat set with a blast from the heat tool.

·       Glue the face image into place on the lid with the glue and seal.

·       Edge the lid and the box with chalk ink. Leave to dry.

·       Using the smallest flourish add some interest around the bottom of the box.

·       Finally use the glue and seal to seal the box. Once dry add the pom-pom trimming.
