Artist Journal Card by Mandy C

A6 card blank
Lost Coast Doll Stamp ~ I think any of the doll stamps would work equally well.

·       Take an A5 piece of card and using the Craft Mat and Distress Inks with a water spritzer make a wrinkle free background. Leave to dry or dry with a heat tool.

·       Stamp your background stamp from Classics 7 onto a piece of card. Using a selection of chalk inks, colour the background stamp in.

·       In order for it to stand out from the Distress background, I’ve glued it to a piece of black card/paper and cut around it.

·       Once the Distress background is dry, cut the piece out you want to use, I’ve cut mine slightly smaller than my card blank. Stamp the key background across the whole of the Distress background piece of card using olive Archival Ink. Edge with olive chalk ink. Glue to card blank.

·       Stamp a doll from Lost Coast… there are plenty to choose from. Colour with watercolours and cut out. Adhere to the card using 3d foam pads.

·       Lastly stamp out the words from Classics 1 using black Archival ink.

  1. Love how she echoes the chess pieces.

  2. Fabulous... I have that SA stamp, and to my shame haven't yet inked it up - thank you for the nudge and for the inspiration!
