By The Light Of The Full Moon by Mandy C

It’s week 2 of our Hallowe’en month on Sunday Postcard Art… this week the theme is By The Light of the Full Moon. If you’d like to come and join in head over here

What I used for my postcard

Glimmer Mist ~ Candy Corn
Glimmer Mist ~ Monster Mash

Spray Candy Corn and Monster Mash Glimmer Mist over a mask on a piece of 6ins x 4ins white card. I used the fence border for this postcard. Dry with a heat tool.

Stamp one of the Hallowe’en Octopode stamps, dry with a heat tool and then colour with watercolour pencils. Leave to dry.

Stamp a haunted house onto the bottom of the card…. There’s a nice one here ~ the stamp I used had a full moon on it but you can cut a circle from an old book page and place behind the house.

Stamp the Owl from the mini Halloween 3 set so the branches are over the moon.
Cut the head off the Octopode stamp and re-attach at a wonky angle. Attach to the card. Stamp the bird on the corner of the house and stamp random cobwebs at the top of the card.

Stamp the words from the Hallowe’en set from My Minds Eye onto a piece of card, colour it orange. Edge with chalk ink and attach to the card.

Edge the images with white gel pen/black gel pen. Edge with chalk ink.

  1. Hi Mandy, this is so creative, lovely colours and the moon looks really cool using book pages. xx
