Octopode Steampunk Book Part 2 by Mandy C

I’ve made a 6 page tag book, featuring some of the Octopode Steampunk people. The dimension of the tags is 2.5cm x 4.25 cm. See Part 1 here.

PAGE 3 FEATURES STEAMPUNK VIKTOR

What I used:

Spritz a tag you have cut out of white card. Leave to dry.

Stamp Viktor with black Archival, heat set and then colour with watercolour pencils. Leave to dry then cut out.

Stamp the checker plate along one edge with the Aquamarine ink.

Stamp the train from the Hero Arts set and the Steampunk corners (there’s a nice one on the above set).

Adhere Viktor to the tag, go around him with a watercolour pencil.

Edge the tag with the chalk ink.

PAGE 4 FEATURES STEAMPUNK POSY

What I used:

Octopode Steampunk Stamps ~ Words and Posy
Ranger Archival Ink Pad ~ Jet Black
Silver gel pen
Various misters/spritzers ~ for this one I have used blue tones

Spritz a tag you have cut out of white card.  Leave to dry. Also use the mask on the background.

Stamp Posy with black Archival, heat set and then colour with watercolour pencils. Leave to dry then cut out. I’ve also used a silver gel pen on her zip.

Using the StazOn Dove Gray, stamp the little advert from the Vintage Treasure plate all over the tag.

Stamp the train tracks along the bottom of the tag and the cog corner on the left-hand side.

Adhere Posy and then stamp the ‘explore’ word along the top of the tracks.

Using a watercolour pencil, go around Posy to make her stand out.

Edge the tag with chalk ink.

  1. Amazing use of background stamps, Mandy. Until I clicked the link I assumed the traintracks were a rollercoaster. And I like how you used the edge of the star template behind her head.
