Haunted Postcard by Mandy C

On Sunday Postcard Art, we have a month long Hallowe’en celebration. This week the theme is HAUNTED…. If you’d like to come and join us… all you need to do is make a postcard in 6 x 4 “ size, upload to your blog/photostream/flickr/facebook and leave a comment with your link.

What I used:

Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mask – Borderline (I used the fence)
Tim Holtz Mini Ornates (the branch)
Creepy Fence stamp Black Archival
Collage Image

Using the spritzers and the fence mask… create a background…. I used a couple of orange colours and lime. Leave to dry.

Cut a collage image out ~ I’ve used this creepy looking woman. Use the image to decide where to stamp onto the postcard.

Using Black Archival and the ‘haunted house’ from the PaperArtsy collection, stamp (around 1/3 of the way from the bottom) the fence along the bottom of the card and the branches from the Tim Holtz set across the top two corners. Stamp BEWARE centrally.

      Adhere the collage image.

Colour the house with a white watercolour pencil.

Draw around the edge of the image with a watercolour pencil… I used a dark purple on mine.

Edge around the card with the chalk ink.

  1. Love the whole design of this postcard Mandy. Spooky indeed! Hugs, Buttons x

  2. Bet sitting on that fence is uncomfortable, even for a ghost. Seriously, wonderful postcard!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on our blog, we really appreciate it.
