Dylusions/Octopode Giant Tag by Mandy C

What I used:

The Octopode Factory ~ Alice words 2
Doodly flower stamps ~ similar to the Autumn Leaves single stamps.

Make the background using white card, the masks and the sprays. Dry with the heat tool.

Cut out a large tag.... mine is the whole width of the A4 page (around 8cm) x 3.5 cm.

Stamp Doolally Dorris’s body and Alishba using black archival ink, heat set and colour with watercolour pencils.

Cut Alishba’s head off and attach it to Dorris’s body. Stamp and cut out one of the hats on the Dorris set of stamps. Attach it at a jaunty angel on Alishba’s head.

Using the doodly flowers stamp onto the tag... you could even draw some flowers. Colour them with watercolour pencils.

      Adhere the Dorris/Alishba hybrid.

Stamp the words ‘I knew who I was when I woke up this morning’ onto card, cut and glue onto the tag.

Do some black pen work around the edge of the tag and the words.

Edge the doll in olive pencil.

Edge the whole tag with charcoal cats eye chalk ink.

  1. Gorgeous tag. Love the images and colours and particularly the sentiment!! So much to see on a small item (well, ok I know it's a slightly larger tag but. . . !).
