Whoever Loves Hanging Tag by Mandy C

What I used:

A shaving foam background
Small piece of beaded trim

  • Using a ready made background, (I’ve used a shaving foam one) cut a tag shape.
  • Using grey StazOn, stamp the splodgy stamp from the ‘Natures Wonders’ set randomly over the tag ~ this makes it look more distressed.
  • Using the Crafty Individuals stamp plate, stamp some grasses along the bottom of the tag ~ I used grey StazOn.
  • Stamp the sentiment, as central as you can, then stamp 2 butterflies flying off the tag. Stamp directly onto the tag for this, using black Archival (if you have the new Archival, it takes a little bit longer to dry so give it a blast from your heat gun).
  • Stamp the same butterflies onto some white card as well as the script stamp. Colour the images in to contrast the tag colour.
  • Cut the butterflies out and attach using glue.
  • I wanted the script to be decorative, so I cut a scalloped border and added it to the top of the tag.
  • I then used the ‘Bonjour’ set to add the cherry blossom. I coloured these in with a turquoise watercolour pencil.
  • Edge the tag, including the scalloped border, firstly with a black fineliner pen and then with a Cats Eye Ink Pad.
  • Lastly, add the beaded trim along the back of the tag.

  1. Beautiful tag, the colours are so gorgeous

  2. Gorgeus tag, love the stamping and colors.
